Let's be fair, the Mac does what the Mac is supposed to do. OF sees a PCIe device enumerates it, fails to load the unsupported BIOS and hands it that way to OSX which lacks a driver for non initialized video cards.
MorphOS should be able to get that card started but fails.
I am in a similar boat where yet another card is supposed to show up today as both the one I had laying around and the last one bought failed.
In the end there is always the option to stick to AGP G4/G5s with certified Apple cards.
It was my fault
I tried it with another DVI-VGA adapter and it worked immediately
It's interesting because the nvidia video card has the same DVI connector and there is picture with the adapter I used so far
With the new adapter there is a picture on both the radeon and nvidia cards!
However, I still don't know the answer to why the keyboard and mouse don't work in the boot menu
Could there be a problem if I leave the nvidia card in the computer?
Does not interfere with MorphOS operation?
One more thing
while loading MorphOS it says that there is 1.7GB of ram in the machine and in fact there is 3GB
