The MorphOS hardware page lists SoundBlaster Live! (emu10kx) under sound. I have several EMU10K1 based pci sound cards.

Will a SoundBlaster Live! work in a G5? Is there a way in MorphOS to select the Live! over the G5’s onboard auio?

Does MorphOS work with the E-mu Audio Production Studio? The APS is EMU10K1 based but has balanced inputs/outputs.

Can MorphOS use the midi port on a SoundBlaster Live!?

A G5 seems to be the most finically accessible upgradable MorphOS platform and if I am going to go that route I would like to put in a fancy sound card.

The sound blaster and audigy PCI cards both work just fine in the PCIX PowerMac G5's.

The PCIe sound blaster cards do not work in the PCIe PowerMac G5's.

I used an audigy card in my 2.7 PCIX for years. Worked perfectly.
