Temperatures are normal!
If your Firmware is "old" enough you can remove 2nd cpu - PowerMac will work anyway with one CPU (in slot 1). You have to test. Then calibration should be possible (at moment it seems to have a problem with your 2nd, defective CPU).
ASD 2.5.8 seems to be suitable for your G5. If it is a late 2005 you may need 2.6.3. In this case it won't work with one CPU...
After calibration:
Use CPU-Temperature shell-command (MorphOS) to control temperature:
PowerMac7FanControl CPUTemperatureTarget 65 BackSideTemperatureTarget 55This values are proper for my G5_2.3GHz. You won't hear the fans......
Backsidetemp is the NorthBridge, which blower you hear in most cases, when G5 gona be a starting jet (not CPU fans)!
