There's a bullet point in the MorphOS 3.10 release notes which states that the 2nd CPU is disabled on PowerMac7 (which are all G5 Macs officially supported by MorphOS). But there've been findings reported in another thread based on temperature sensor signal suggesting that the 2nd CPU is not completely disabled.
