matt3 - I have used the Apple Service Diagnostic (ASD) discs that I put on DVD that I got from the resource identified in this thread, and they booted OK for my purposes, that was v2.5.8 and v2.6.3, but I was using them on a G5 2.3GHz Dual Processor (Dual CPU - NOT Dual or QUAD CORE), but they have to be written/burned to disc, as they cannot be used directly just as an ISO. I don't know if you have done that so far, but I would be hopeful the v2.6.3 discs would suit your requirements.
