    Hi all together,

I bought myself a imac g5 with a broken optical Drive. That is why i tried to boot from usb stick.
The open firmware said loading Elf... Do-quiesce finished.
As far as i understand umsd0: might Not be the right adress for Morphos to access the usb drive.
That is why i need some help of others to find the right name in a g5 imac i-sight.

    Thanx

Umsdo0: is what you use to tell MorphOS to load an iso from a usb drive. Unless you have more usb drives connected, it will always be umsd0. ud: is what you need to tell the OF where to load the MorphOS’ boot.img from. Since you’re seeing the do-quiesce message, I’d assume that you got that bit right. Still, check that you are trying to load the boot.img from mac_ppc64 directory on the ISO and validate the path after umsd0:. Always best to make it short like umsd0:mos.iso or so…

    boot ud:\boot.img bi umsd0:mos.iso
