I had a flashed FireGL X3 on my G5 7,3 which translates to a X800 XT. It worked fine on MorphOS and I tried it one time on OS X where it worked too. It did however not work on Linux where it locked up the machine. I replaced it with a Radeon 9800 Pro (original Mac-BIOS) which worked on Linux, albeith rather slow.
Don't know if this is a
'flashed card issue' or the X800 XT by itself won't work on Linux. Is there any AGP X800 with original Mac-BIOS?
