That's interesting information, but my Pegasos 2 is already a 2B5 with lastest firmware. Was it some unofficial firmware update?
What I experimented about this 1GB port issue, is that you won't notice it strongly at the beginnning. It becomes slowly more and more laggy, and then suddently totally unusable after 5 or 6 hours. Maybe some stress tests with intensive network traffic could trigger it faster.
