As for the motherboard - I guess it could fit in the case (not sure about the mounting points though), but:
1. The power button module is different
2. The ports at the back look different
3. 12,1 has got an additional AirPort/Bluetooth antenna in the back
Now when it comes to power supply - it's a different pair of shoes. The wattage is one thing - Quad's got a 1000W PSU - but the plug connector is
completely different. 7,3 is using somewhat standard ATX-ish connector style while 11,2 is using a series of metal "badges" that have corresponding points on the mobo (and they're screwed together).
Not worth the hassle, I believe.
