I have an A1106 that a friend sent to me saying it was "misbehaving" (turning off for no apparent reason - and refusing to power up again - i.e. during web browsing). I made some stress tests on it (including having it running dnetc client for a whole day and night) and finally replicated the issue. Now that you mention it - could it be overheating?
