I guess it should be possible to swap the coolers (as the CPU daughter cards seem quite similar), but the machine would go wild after that (the thermal sensors readings would be incorrect and the fans would spin to maximum speed). And you could do nothing to stop it, as thermal calibration would fail every time.
Or maybe I'm wrong? Seems like
somebody has already tried that.
