I use it daily as a main machine (G5 2.3GHz). Main difference is in 3D. X1950XT just flies vs. Radeon 9600. PCIe gives also big speedup in OWB scrolling the pages. 970MP CPU speed of 2.3 GHz is similar to 2.5 GHz FX. If someone wants to know any speedtest results just ask :)
