The question is not what is the most powerfull machine to support but what machine is easier to support.
Supporting a laptop is a great amount of work so one laptop type should be a good start and they extend to a bigger range of standard motherboard.
Sure the easier way is to have morphos on top of a linux kernel like the quark kernel (not as os, just for hardware abstraction layer) but i don't know if it's the good way for Morphos team. I think they will choose a smarter kernel QUARK again? not sure...
