I don't expect any changes from this policy in the current fork, but I DO expect to have to pay for the X64 port.

And on the sequence you mentioned, did any X1000s come with a video card that eventually received 3D support?
Obviously the original units with the 4650 are SOL.

And the part you don't get must be my wry amusement over the fact that we WILL have drivers for those cards (4650, 5450, 6570,6670, amongst others).
