Thanks for the descriptions and video/image links. From this info it's clear that the overlay issue and the Task Manager issue are the same thing, and I know what the problem is. When it comes to the resolution related issues I'm also fairly sure I know what's causing them.

I'll try to get some time to fix these issues in the near future and I'll get back to you when I have something to test.
