XBox 360 Controller and E-UAE

Hi everybody, I have a question about the XBox 360 controller.

I've pluged it in and tried playing Amiga Racer. This worked fine so far. Than I have started E-UAE with Silkworm (I have tried some other games too.) and there was the first problem: It seems like the controller isn't working with E-UAE. I can press any button I like but there is nothing happening. :(

    What am I doing wrong?
Is there a configuration file I have modify first?
Or is the controller simply not supported by E-UAE?

EUAE, sadly, lacks support for the sensors.library API. Hopefully that's going to change...

Ah OK. Thank you for your answer. :)

Are there any other recommendable gamepads which should work with E-UAE or is this a general problem?

It's a general problem, sadly. Hopefully it'll get addressed eventually.

And why not remap the pad values in Poseidon to keypresses and configure E-UAE to use that keys as joystick? Just thinking out loud...

You cannot remap the xbox pad really.

It doesn't work as a standard device under Poseidon? Well, too bad then.
