    hello,

the PowerMac 7,2 and 7,3 are compatible, but from what I´ver read, PCI (x) models are not?

So this will not be compatible: PowerMac 1047 (just to clarify)

    kind regards

    PCI-X is supported, PCIe not.

The one in your link is the best supportet model if you want to stay away from liquid cooled ones , just make sure it really has the Radeon not a BTO or aftermarket NVidia.

    Aaahh, nice!

Thing is, there is no iMac G5 support (which I would buy a license for), so I am looking for a G5 PowerMac to test it and decide, if I should reg to my MacMini (unlikely, because it´s mainly on owncloud server), my "new" iBook 1.33 which is on the way to me or the G5 killer-machine ;=)

Or maybe I just buy two licenses...

Cool, looks like I got a dual G5 2.3Ghz in mint condition for a real bargain :)
