    Hi,

    Keen to get my old dialup modem working with my MacMini/MOS 3.9 setup.

    Has anyone achieved this? To the point where they can for example call BBSs or a dialup ISP? I'm looking at PL2302 chipset USB -> RS232 adaptors - as I see there's a class for that in the Poisedon stack, but would be good to get recommendations for kit which is known to work.

    Many thanks

    I'm using a PL2302 USB->RS232 Adapter as well for a project.
    This here: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00425S1H8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
    It can communicate OK with another computer via serial.
    So yeah, this works.
    Maybe there is a cheaper one that works as well, but I can't say.
