    Hi

As recently I just got nice iMac 9,1 i'm thinking to use it as a monitor for MorphOS machine. Did anyone here tried that?

    9,1 - is that the 24 inch Core2 model?
That would make a nice monitor if you could hack it.

As long as I remember iMac 9.1 (early 2009) supports only output of mini displayport so you can't use its monitor as target display.

But if you are lucky you got iMAC 9.1 END of 2009, or 2010 that models support also target display monitor mode.

If you have that model you can use ElGato Eye TV 250 mini displayport adapter (but WARNING... I read it has great signal lag, so you can use it with MacMini DVI and MorphOS for anyday use, you can use it for display TV signals, but is unuseful for Sony Playstation or Microsoft XBox with action games)

There is also Kanex XD HDMI to Mini Displayport adapter you can use and it seems it is useful for gaming also.
