X-Kernel? Isn't that fairy dust? Well, at least the merging part and backwards compatibility part.

You are setting yourself up for disappointment
Let the AmigaOS4.x guys hang themselves and laugh at them when it doesn't work, or when it never gets finished and released. It just makes MorphOS users look bad when we pick on them too soon.
We are much better off just stating the current facts, which all point to big disappointments of the past promises and the lack of current progress in the present day. All promises and very, very little improvements, or new features for the AmigaOS4.x users, while MorphOS keeps adding good features and so many new hardware choices (that can be bought for so little, and out perform anything you can get that runs AmgiaOS4.x).
I guess some few improvements have been made for AmigaOS4.x, but not many of those are done by Hyperion, it is outside 3rd party developers who get the most done it seems. I wonder what Hyperion is actually doing?
If they would publish weekly, or even monthly updates of all the programming committed to the AmigaOS4.x code base, like some of the AROS guys are doing publicly, then we would at least know they are doing something.
