    I installed a pci graphics card I could use another monitor then a total of two since I have another graphics card agp slot

    Yes, but currently only when the cards are different. e.g. a voodoo and a radeon due a limitation within the gfx drivers AFAIK.

    I use a Radeon9000 and a Voodoo3 in my PowerMac 933 and it works fine. I can even move the mouse pointer between screen as you would expect.

    I would have problems with any two radeon graphics cards installed Precisely so.

    when the monitor is connected to the pci card and start a music player the monitor goes into standby.
    i have ati rage pro agp and radeon 7000 pci
