Yes, it really does. First off, I'm astonished that MorphOS can display on your Radeon HD77xx at all (as you described in several comments), as I've never before read such thing and it really shouldn't, at least going by what's known regarding GPU support of MorphOS. Can anybody else confirm that MorphOS somehow/somewhat works (at least to some extent) on GCN1-based graphics cards?
So, if your GPU luckily isn't TeraScale2 but GCN1, which is 3D-supported by OS4 (with A-Eon drivers), then you're off the hook as you can keep this card for OS4 in the primary slot and just need to add to another slot a card 3D-supported by MorphOS and Linux, which would be R5xx-based, as has been mentioned numerous times in this thread.

XT has somewhat faster GPU than Pro. And for MorphOS at least, 256 MiB VRAM is the limit anyway, so that a 512 MiB VRAM card will show only 256 MiB. Memory type can be largely ignored I'd say.

    Many thanks for the info!

I got the 1950 pro, but new issue
the card works in my 5000 in os4 and morph cd boots (smile)

but not in my sam460LE, when plugged in on the Sam at power on it just shows a black screen? (sigh)

    any clues

Do you see only black screen and nothing else? No U-Boot output?

    - at first check if graphics card 6-pin power connector is correctly plugged
    - if you have other card working with Sam460LE, in U-Boot menu set Video Options / x86 BIOS emulator to slow

if anything not works, you should post here serial debug log.

MorphOS: Efika 5200b, Pegasos I, Sam460LE, Pegasos II, Powerbook G4, Mac Mini, iMac G5, Powermac G5 Quad

    OK so...

May I go to buy a R5xxx one? Where can I do it? Want to buy as soon as possible. And is this suitable and compatible with my AmigaOS 4.1,Morphos and of course Linux/Fienix?

I want you folks make it clear.

Apart of this technical and useful stuff...I want to make a clear statement here,My possible new graphics card must be able to show 320x240 or 320x256 screen for MAME,Turbografx and Amiga emulators at its most.

That's primordial for me because since Amedia France is a great company but didn't took much attention when they revived my dormant 5000 back on the summer of 2021.640x480 is for pcs like 320x240 resolutions for my A1-X5000

    Thank you for your understanding.

Anyway: Is there a way possible to define and use 320x240 on Morphos 3.19?

    Thanks again

There is the "Monitor" section in prefs which should do just what you want.

Assuming your monitor can handle that low of a res.

    R5xx (not R5xxx), which is anything from RV515 (Radeon X1300) to R580+ (Radeon X1950 XT(X)), see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_X1000_series#Chipset_table.

    > Where can I do it?

As those cards were released between 2005 and 2007, you will get them NOS at best (but still rarely). It's easier to get them used, so look for them where used stuff is being sold.

As I wrote, the R5xx-based card is for MorphOS and Linux. That's why you'll have to keep your GCN1-based card in the primary slot for OS4, as I also wrote.

    Thanks Sailor and Andre,

I worked out that the used 1950pro had an a intermitent power problem..
So I found a NEW old stock 1950Xt

    everything working now.

I am still hoping for the morph devs to one day support newer rx cards in the X5000
so that I don't need two cards but right now I happy using the Sam460LE with a 1950xt.

    now to finally register Morph

Yeah I saw "Monitores" (In spanish) but the lower is only a 640x480 one.

Only some I expect final questions.

Which graphics card is suitable for me to see 2D/3D on AmigaOS4.1 and Morphos 3.19?

Where can I buy it and how much does it cost?

Yeah I asume to have 2 graphic cards installed on my X5000.

    Tell me please

Ah! And I want 3D for Fienix too.

    Are they expensive?

Thanks for all of the support regarded on forums

    I wil stay tuned

This question is anything but good. And you got the answer already.
Instead of you asking the same questions over and over again and ignoring the answers, maybe we should do it another way: You tell us in simple sentences (= paraphrase) what you've learned of this thread so far.

Your MorphOS graphics system diagram has some severe flaws:
    - the "RAVE" field must be changed to "CyberGraphX" (or "CGX")

    - the "GOA" arrow must go to "RAVE", not to "TinyGL"

Looks almost good to me: The arrow from SDL(2) to the graphics card shouldn't be there I'd say. At least I'm not aware that SDL(2) can directly access the GPU without going through CGX.

Edit: Also, I think that for completeness sake, the CyberGraphX box should also contain Voodoo 3/4/5, Permedia2/2v, SiS 300/305/315/6326 and Volari V3/V5/V8.

I am also not sure. But I think, that SDL1 hardware output is direct write to video memory.
