Trying to resuscitate a G4 MDD

    Judging by the links I just posted I'd say yes, assuming you're asking about per-CPU amount rather than total amount.

    So the only single CPU card with a 2MB L3 cache (obviously per CPU) would be the Xserve 1.33 slot load single CPU card?
    I'm going to have to look for one of these.
    If it can overclock as far as the 1.25 MDD single CPU card, this may be my best bet for highest performance.

    That and the Xserve 1.0 GHz single-CPU one.

    That is the one that I thought might be the best over-clocking candidate for a single G4 CPU that will work inside our MDD PowerMac's.

    A hard to find cPU card.
    I'm going to try to overclock the 1.25GHz MDD processor first.
    Even if it only has a 1MB L# cache, operating at 1.67 GGHz should give it quite a boost.

    Once I've obtained a 1.33 Xserve processor, I'll post the 1.25 (overclocked) for sale.
