The card's initial state is probably to give output in all possible ways. The MorphOS driver then seems to disable (or rather not enable) analog VGA output on the DVI connector. Since the analog signal is output on separate pins I don't think the dongle is more than a pin converter.

AFAIK Frank has a little help - I mean Henes and Bigfoot do alot of gfx card work for MOS, but for Video Out or something its pretty much just him. The thing about it is that he could code Video Out and Working All in Wonder with Capture! The trick is that he is a full time working professional programmer and would have to be "contracted" or so to do this...

FYI: Some of this is speculation on my part, remember this is s a forum post. :-)

But... lets say 500 Morphos users globally donate a minimum of $10 towards a Fund to get this done! ( Granted of course Frank M would do it!) That would be $5000 and may be enough to get Video Out and such..

Targhan: I really think there should be a donate button on Morphzone so that the MOS community can give back to the MOS developers! Maybe with some nice donations coming in it may speed up 1.5 for all the wah wah wah out there.. :-P

You are surprised PPC Linux didnt have the newest ATI drivers? Dont forget, this is closed information and PPC market is not big enough for them to release it to.

IIRC BBRV did have contact with ATI within the last 6 months or so but dont know if its been followed up on..
