I thought you were alluding to the broken cache coherency of the Articia S northbridge the OS4 developers had to work around. As you can see from my link, MorphOS 3.8 had to be enriched with similar "kludges" in order to support the non-coherent caches of the PPC460EX.

Oh right I see. Didn't see any references to it in your link so i got confused. Easily done these days tbh lol

That's because you probably use "newest first" sort order. I was referring to comment #197.

    Yup, seen it now.

So that rules out the second part of my original statement and just leaves the first. Less skilled coders. ;-)

Tried the benchmark of that Promethus trailer, and the 1.25ghz OC to 1.5GHZ single core MDD Mac averaged a 88.888 seconds.

Gave the DP 2.7GHz G5 a shot, and achieved:
    BENCHMARKs: VC: 38.150s VO: 0.019s A: 0.000s Sys: 0.848s = 39.017s
    BENCHMARK%: VC: 97.7785% VO: 0.0491% A: 0.0000% Sys: 2.1724% = 100.0000%

Not too bad. :) May give that other video file a try later on.
