I heard from Essen visitors that MorphOS for PowerMac G4 will support all AGP based PowerMac G4 models at once (which actually is every PowerMac G4 except the very first one).

Yes, that would be excellent. Some of the Powermac made before my Quicksilver offer features that make them attractive. Availability is an obvious one, but four memory slots (over the Quicksilver's three) gives earlier models a 2gig memory capability overe the Quicksilver's 1.5gigs.

And maybe we can stop the bickering about Powermacs weighing too much, as the models prior to the MDD weighed quite a bit less.

That's kind of funny. I didn't notice that before :-) On the other hand: MorphOS can only see 1.5 GiB RAM anyway, so this shouldn't make a difference in a MorphOS context.

Damn, What I'm I going to do with that 8gig G5 I just bought?

extra RAM makes OS x better of course :)
    My Macs:
    Powerbook G4 ALU 1.5GHZ 15" 1.5GB OSX.5.8
    Powermac G4 MDD 1.5GHZ OSX.5.8 MOS2.7

Want a part for a Mac? Let me know, I'll see what I can do.

Amithlon is amazing, questions and help I can provide.
