It's not super fast on my G5 setup too, but I would call it quite playable (video here).

If it is a 4k you should go with FullHD to avoid fractional scaling.

Looks good to me, and the extra space makes a nice difference with Iris and Pagestream.

PolyOrga is on the other display at 1080P, frankly I would like to have 1200 on that screen as well.

Anything higher resolution it gets harder to read without glasses...

    Small update from my side:

Got an HD3650 that kinda works on 3.19, no signal on HDMI or DP just DVI but at least it's a start.

The 1€ AirPort also showed up and with an antenna ripped out of a QuickSilver G4 it does work quite well.
Need to find a solution to secure the card and antenna though.

Good luck with making your wifi antenna
It's a shame the HDMI output doesn't work, that would be the advantage of the HD card.
I decided to give up the wifi card and buy a regular lan card instead.
    I will buy this.: TP-Link TG-3468

I did find a small board from a PowerBook that has the right sockets for the G5 antenna cables so a non destructive adapter is possible.

As for GFX, moved the box over to 3.20b which did mix up the results a bit.
I ended up using an R5 230 which did not work at all with 3.19 which kinda works with the 27" at 2560x1440 but excels on the widescreen at 3440x1440 using an active DualLinkDVI-DisplayPort adapter.

I'd say almost as good as 2 2560x1440 screens, I might even keep it that way for the time being.

    Well yeah
It's playable but it should run faster with a quad g5 and x1950 config
I think it wasn't optimized properly.

    Thanks

Here on the forum, one user said this card works too

    AzureWave AW-GE870 B/G PCI-E
    Could anyone confirm this?

I don't like higher resolutions either because of the small characters
FullHD is more than enough for me

Running at 3440x1440 is quite a blast.

And of course I had to increase the font sizes by a bit, ain't 20 anymore.....

I have some full cd games that I used on my old PPC Amiga
and I would like to get them to work somehow, the only problem is that as far as I know, some of them used the AGA video processor and I don't know if it's possible to use them on MorphOS without an Amiga emulator
I don't want to use an Amiga emulator on an Amiga compatible system because then I can do it on MacOS too
I already know that some old Amiga games have been ported to Morphos.
But what about games with Aga and cybergraphx systems?

If they are really "PPC-era" (aka 97 or younger) games they should be using RTG and AHI and in theory they should work.

Reality is that plenty of those still had some code hitting chip men or HW register for obscure reason. Some have been patched later on, others may have a proper MorphOS replacement binary.

No way of knowing without listing the exact games you wann play.

    Thanks

I already listed the games in a previous answer
but for example I tried the game called virtua ball fighter on my G4 mac and I couldn't start it because the system was missing something
but if I manage to buy a network card I will try again on my G5

Games with AGA/ECS/OCS as hard requirement (i.e. without optional RTG/RTA mode) don't work on MorphOS (except maybe on PowerUP systems).

    Thanks

It doesn't matter because most games are written for warp os and tinygl is there for that

    Just to avoid some misconceptions:
The WarpOS/WarpUP compatibility layer has not been named AFAIK. The Warp3D compatibility layer is named Goa3D (or just Goa) and works through Rave3D on Radeon R100/R200. I guess your mention of TinyGL in that context refers to Wazp3D's TinyGL renderer. And if that's not enough, TinyRave (#6) has been announced, a Rave3D wrapper sitting atop TinyGL, enabling Goa3D to run on Radeon R300 and newer.

    Yes, I thought so
I've been no using Amiga for a long time and I've forgotten almost everything
the great news is that they are continuing to develop TinyGL
I am considering registering MorphOS which is currently version 3.18
the question is if I upgrade later to version 4.xx will the registration still be valid or will I need to register again?

Key is bound to the HW (motherboard) and last forever.

My Peg2 keyfile bought directly on the 2.0 release is still valid.
