I didn't forget it Andreas.
I haven't been able to find PPC compatible roms for the X1900.
The X600 was used onboard in the G5 iMac, but not as a card in other systems.
I'm having trouble finding any ATI based PCIe cards that will work in later G5s (plenty of Nvidia cards).

Only Intel based roms
Maybe we can modify AGP roms for the R400 to support PCIe (the problem with that being the different interface and slightly different R400 cores).
Or drivers could be created that support non Apple cards (the drivers we created for ET4000 cards used in PT68K computers in the 80's didn't use the video bios, so I assume it could be done).
Since Frank has previously stated that he had the X600 in an iMac working, he must have some kind of beta driver.
And now that he is working on a SAM460 port, PCIe support will be something the team has experience with.
