I'm getting new April-enabled Peg1 soon to replace my good old pre-April Peg1. I got it in Phreeboard program and since I dont need it anymore I'm giving it away for a developer for free. But who (:-)) ? I mailed Alfonso Ranieri (see this thread) if he wants this board but since I havent got reply after ~10 days waiting I suppose he is not available.

The board I'm giving away is the original Peg1 board without April fix. It is in good shape and I pay shipping costs.

Your welcome, itix for the Phreeboard and for this one...;-) And, don't forget to thank Ola too who is giving you the board. He upgraded with the special offer some time ago and you are getting his old one. He ask that you get it. :-D

Things are still working, slowly, but working!

I love this thread ;-) "Got new board, old one goes to a dev for free."

I ask that Alfie be given a good chance to reply, maybe try on one of his mailing lists? (RxMUI, etc). He is also known to take off for periods of time due to work/school.

Check with the guys on the AWeb team, maybe it will help out that project. Also, check out the Mozilla project, a new system might just spurn some development there.

    Otherwise, "bump." ;-)

Why not give it to the author of XpostFacto? He said he would see about making a morphOS port in the past if he had the hardware. That would be an awsome app if it worked on the Pegasos!!

    Hi guys!
Are there any news about the demo-competition? Is the project alive or already canceled?

i think that is a good idea but i think he should have a new board one that is not "obsolete" since we wantt his to be a perfect port dont u think. i mean it might not even work on a peg 2....food for thought

Ah, XPostFacto looks nice but I'm not sure if pre-April Peg1 is good enough. Chances for an articia trash is too high...

That looks very nice... if he is ready to port stuff to MorphOS then why not. But are you sure he is interested and capable to do that?

That demo guy (mentioned by hooligan, cant remember name, cut'n paste isnt working in this mac) is a good option too... There is no hurry to decide 'cause my CRT died today and I cant use my Peg...

You should still contact the XpostFacto author. I would think if he gets it ported and MOS friendly it will work. It works on so many Mac machines all with totaly diffrent chipsets. I tried to email him and still havent got a reply back. If you do it telling him you have it to give he may give you a reply.

I just mailed to XPostFacto author, let's see what happens. But I doubt it is really feasable to make it MorphOS friendly.

I'll look for other options later this week... due to my burned monitor things are moving slowly :-(

I've mailed him as well and still havent got a reply back. I think the next best person to give it to, actually the first choice should be Error, author of Frying Pan.

    @Acill

I totally agree with you. FryinPan's author (Tomasz alias Error) fully deserves this free board.

The 0.4 release is (almost?) ready and its web site is one the way of completetion.

It would be a really good choice.

    Fred

Has anyone contacted him to see if he is ready for such a board? I'm sure he is, and would enjoy using it. I think the if you decide to give it to him you need to also help him get it setup as a dev machine with his help in telling you want is currently on his WinUAE system.
