iMac 20" iSight is the one to get.

Upgrade it to 2GB of RAM and put a SSD in. Very nice all-round machine for MorphOS.

Vintage Apple iMac G5 20-inch A1076 Mac OS X 2 GHz 2 GB RAM WIFI+BT

Total bundle includes iMac G5 20’ (non-iSight) with Apple wired keyboard and Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000, 2 games (LEGO Indiana jones and three pack game consisting of The incredibles, Cars and Ratatouille), lastly the power cord as well (Generic replacement). The iMac has been fully tested and specs are, 2.0ghz G5 processor, 128MB ATI dedicated graphics, 370GB Hitachi HDD, 2GB of DDR RAM, WiFi and Bluetooth, dvd drive and FireWire as well. The iMac has been reset with a new user under the ID “iMac G5 20’ 2.0ghz” with no password. Please keep in mind this is a vintage computer it has been fully tested to be working but will have scuffs and small cracking or chips in plastic frame. It is missing the plastic piece that is adhered into the bottom of iMac stand. Overall it’s very clean and in good condition. Thanks for looking!

Not exactly possible. 0.5 GiB are soldered onboard, there is one slot and there're no 1.5 GiB modules. I'd recommend at least 2.5 GiB total for MorphOS use, or 4.5 GiB total for additional Linux use.

Yes, I meant stick in a 2GB RAM Module.

imac isight

anyway, i cant get it to boot off the mos cd.
i hold down the C while powering on but it spits out the CD.
does the CD go in with top side faceing away?

found your boot instructions but the CD keeps spitting out.
the CD tests good in linux which is how i burned it
do you have to burn it a certain way?

tried a usb thunbdrive now also
wondering if this dvdburner in this g5 has issues or is quite picky
using ALT gets a boot menu but nothing but the HD on iy

wheni insert the mac os X install disc and use ALT it see the hd and the install dics and a tester
but never MOS
defintely the drive not accepting the disc i burned
it also never sees the thumbdrive

the screen changes as if mos is going to boot but then it ejects the disc and the apple logo kicks in instead.
i think mos is failing to boot

i stick in a blank dvd disc and it spits it out too, from the mac desktop
