    Hi!
    I've recently bought a powerbook.
As a barbarian i took my mac mini morphos hdd, and put in my powerbook.
Now Ethernet doesn't work: if I try a simple ping it doesn't go.
What could i do? Reinstall all os or simply copy some file? What's the powerbook nic?

Second question: how do you use the right mouse button with the single button mousepad?

    Thanks!!!

DON'T SWITCH IT ON OR IT'LL BLOW UP!
    :-D
Nah, it should just work for the most part (screen resolutions, network config, laptop settings and touchpad settings may need adjusting).

Go to settings>system>network and check configuration settings. You could also try setting a static IP address (if already done so make sure that your PB IP is different from your MM IP).

just in case it's failing in negotiation at bootup time, you could also try typing into a shell:
    Offline eth0
    Online eth0
    (two seperate commands)
The MorphOS equivalient of 'repair internet connection'

    Powerbook NIC uses sungem_eth.device

In sys:utilities/commodities there is 'shift-click' - activate this (or drag it to WBstartup drawer) to use 'shift+click' as RMB.
Alternatively, you can configure two-fingered-tap as RMB in settings>system>touchpad.

Have you removed the HD from the Mini (opening it is not a 5 minutes operation..) and fitted it (also here it's not a 5 minutes work..) inside the powerbook !? You actually have a lot of spare time!! :-D

When I bought my Powerbook I just cloned the Mini HD (I did a Backup and reversed it inside Powerbook HD). The same is when I changed the mini with a Powermac MDD and the same will happen (I Hope soon.. :-D) with my new Powermac G5.
