BTW - In addition to the R300 cards I've been flashing for Mac, I may be receiving a genuine Apple Radeon 9800XT for the G5. These usually sell at rather high prices on Ebay.

That's what I was thinking.
If I had more money, I'd buy it and split the two up (and install a flashed card in its place).

I've seen Apple 9800XTs selling for over $150.

Anyone looking forward to Bigfoot's port ought to look into this one (I've already secured a 2.5 G5).

BTW - As this leaves me with two G4 Power macs, I'm ready to turn those over to any needy developers (I'll keep my Powerbook).

The reason I am not buying those machines is the fear of transportation costs and/or poor transportation packaging that I have witnessed. And to add up to the above, the domestic market of second handed G5 is next to zero in terms of numbers. But I am always keep an eye on them ;)

Considering the weight, it would cost a small fortune to get one of these to you.
Still, with your 1.4 accelerator, you are not doing too bad.

BTW - Just found a 256mb 9800Pro with a universally keyed AGP connection for you.

Don't sweat it. I just ordered it. I don't even know when it will arrive and then I've got to test it.
I'm still waiting for the Arctic Silver Thermal adhesive so I can glue the memory heatsinks to the 9800Xt (so I can ship it).

Once I have the 9800XT out the door and the 9800Pro on hand I'll PM you.
