My new Mini came in the mail, I can get it to read and boot off of all my Mac DVD's without issue, be they original or a burned back up.

When in OS X I can read all my MorphOS CD's but can bot boot off them at start time.

    I have tried MorphOS 1.7, 3.0, and 3.1

I held down C at boot time, and I tried holding down:

    LEFT Command + ALT + F + O.

    Any clues? :(

    a) check if the CDs are readable under OSX (otherwise it might be a case of the dying-superdrive)
    b) if they do read, press ALT on bootup, might get you into that basic bootmenu there is the slight possibility that the CD will boot that way.

They read fine under OS X and I have tried two wired USB Mac Keyboards.

    Will try this ALT business.

ALT did no good, it still will not see the disc except from within OS X. :/

No go, will only detect OS X DVD if I hold ALT.

    Sigh....

My MDD acted weird when I burned MorphOS to a CD-R... Then I tried a blank DVD-R and would finally be picked up, but only once I press the ALT button, then it worked. Never booted from the C button unless I had the OS X install DVD.

Just to confirm the CD was burnt correctly and doesn't include "morphos-3.1.iso" file on the disk?

No Piru, I may be daft, but not that daft! ;)

The seller mistakenly shipped me an Intel Mac...

    That explains EVERYTHING!!!

New PPC Mac on the way.
