I am wondering if someone else is using an Apple 17" Studio display who may be able to share his working settings with me.

I am still experiencing color dashes across the screen when viewing in dark backgrounds. I have tried almost all possible combinations of settings under System: > Preferences> Monitors without finding a solution.

Please don't start multiple threads about the same topic in the forums.

If you want, I think you can change the title of a thread that you started by going to the first message in that thread and editing the title there. That is how it works on several forum sites I know of.

FYI, It is bad forum etiquette to start multiple threads for the same topic and the forum moderators might slap you for doing it, on any forum site you visit and use.

I have MOS 3.0 and I've been using an Apple 15" Studio Display and a Dell 24" 1920x1200 display and it auto adjusts without having to make any manual adjustments. I'm using a Radeon 9000 in a PowerMac MDD 2x1.42GHz.

@ Oscar - For some strange reason my Studio 17" acts up on me with MorphOS. It works just perfectly in Mac's running Mac OS.

I am currently using a Sharp 17" LCD monitor and it works very well, with a nice picture quality at 1280 x 1024. So I guess I will have to resignate and give up on my beloved Apple Studio and its sleek look. :-?
