I have now spent about a week with MOS since the installation. Here are some of the issues that I couldn't yet figure out how to resolve:

    (1) I'm using "American" keymap (ISO-8859-1). The "reverse solidus" and "pipe" characters (both on the same key) are not mapped. For example, Keystroke utility does not detect when that key is pressed. I'm using Logitech Illuminated USB keyboard. Some special keys, like the one to open SuperDrive work fine using "Function+F9" work correct.

OK, I got that one sorted. I should have used keymap for "USA keyboard 101/104 keys".

    (2) I have noticed inconsistent behaviour with "Tab" key on web forms. For example, on the same form using "Tab" key will sometimes cycle through form fields, at other times "Tab" key won't work like that. I'm not sure if this is keymap issue or OWB issue.

    (3) I'm having difficulty with PCI USB cards. Often USB drive connected to the card will not mount and can't be accessed. If I connect the same drive to one of the two built-in USB ports, it will work fine. If I plug mouse into USB port on the PCI card sometimes device will be dropped or will not be available on boot. I have tried two differnet cards, one of them has the NEC chipset. Both cards support USB 2.0 and 1.1. I have also tried connecting the drive and mouse to unpowered Belkin hub connected to one of the built-in USB ports and that setup works without any issues. However, I would like to be able to use ports on the PCI card.

    (4) Other than that, it is very pleasant experience... Is there any way of improving boot speed. It takes about 28 sec from cold power-on to full workbench on both Macs that I have (FW800 and Mini)?

    (5) Croatian keymap, when Croatian keyboard is selected...There is only one additional letter "D or d with horizontal bar". All other letters peculiar to Croatian alphabet are missing. Is there anything else that needs to be set in addition to keyboard?

Any suggestion or advice much appreciated!

    This is OWB issue.

Assuming all the Croatian letters are contained in ISO-8859-2 codepage, following characters are included in current Lux font (the default one):

    small letter c with caron
    capital letter c with caron
    small letter c with acute
    capital letter c with acute
    small letter d with bar
    capital letter d with bar
    small letter s with caron
    capital letter s with caron
    small letter z with caron
    capital letter z with caron

If the list is incomplete or incorrect, let me know. If some chars are missing, it is important, which font it is. Unfortunately most fonts included in MorphOS ISO have only ISO-8859-1 codepage (Lux is an exception). If you prefer bitmap fonts, you can download a package on MorphOS Files (direct link). These fonts have complete ISO-2 codepage. You can also use TrueType fonts downloaded by OWB WebCore fonts install script (you have to install them with FTManager first, take care to select ISO-2 codepage).
