Is there anything I have to do to get a USB CD drive working under MOS 2.0? I have just bought one of these, but no CD drive icon shows up when I plug it in and put in a CD. It works under Windows (no driver required there). I haven't actually installed MOS, this is just from the installation image. Not sure whether that matters.

Cheers Cego. I did need to look in there after all. But there was another problem. It seems the IDE->USB adapter needs to be plugged in at boot in order for MOS to see it. I couldn't do this before since my USB memory stick used one port and my 2 port hub for keyboard and mouse used the other. After installing MOS on a CF card I had a free USB port. Plugging the IDE->USB adapter in to the other port before powering on works fine.

Did it matter whether yours was plugged in from boot or not?

Perhaps it didn't like being plugged in along with my USB memory stick, or instead of the keyboard or something. I haven't set up my EFIKA since installing MOS and getting the CD drive working so I can't re-test hot-plugging it, though I'm sure I tried this and it didn't work. I'll try it again the next time I set the machine up. Maybe it depends on the USB adapter!
