Hi folks,

I've been using on board sound so far. I've just (30 mins ago) installed an SB_Live 5.1 and am unable to hear anything from it. I put it in the PCI slot furthest from the AGP. Is there something else to set?

On board sound still works fine.

is there a driver for that card available?
did you change ahi-settings?

MorphOS does not have Emu10k1 drivers in normal distribution (at
least on 1.4) so you'll need to download them on net.

It has files EMU10KX and emu10kx.audio
copy EMU10KX to devs/audiomodes and emu10kx.audio to devs/ahi

after those.. (and reboot?) you'd ought to able to select Emu10k1 from
Ahi prefs.

Hi,
in occasion of Pianeta Amiga fair I mounted a SB_Live 5.1 board in my PegasOS too. I was convinced that with this board audio problems of Pegasos would be eliminated 'cause I read a similar comment by Matin Blown (is the spell correct?), but I sadly can say that sound distortion is still present moveing windows!
However the typical "slow down" audio effect has gone away.
...better than nothing...
