My new computer area at the new house makes it real hard to have my peg conneted with my Mac G5 tower. I want to use a KVM switch to have both using the same keyboard and mouse. the monitor has 2 inputs so its easy there. The only problem is my Mac uses USB for the keyboard and mouse and the Peg is PS2 for the keyboard. Has anyone see a way to connect a USB keyboard with a KVM switch to a Peg using PS2 and a Mac using USB?

any links to one that will do this would be a big help!

Basicly I need USB in to PS2 and USB out...

I have a PC & Peg1 connected to a older cybex KVM, with a USB mouse connected to a USB to PS2 adapter. Works fine. There are probably some great new KVM's on the market that have both USB and PS2 ports. If I were in the market for a KVM today, I'd look for one with HDMI ports on it.

Well good news is OF does work with a USB keyboard and allows me to type from the OF pompt with my mac Keyboard, bad news is it hangs at the MOS logo when i attempt to boot into it and if I do get it to boot in with a PS2 keyboard ten plug in the Mac Keyboard it doesnt wok in MOS.

So i need to figure out if i can even do this at all.

Darth-X: That one will not work. If you use the PS2 cables it disables the USB ports. Click the link for the PS2 cable in the link you posted.
