I installed a NEC usb2.0 card in my pegasos 2.
Works 100% with my usbstick.
But I want to connect it to the front into the frontusb connectors.
But these have only the mobo pin connectors while the nec card has a uab A connector for internal connection.
Are there adapters for sale???
And my printer and my mp3 player aren't being recognised by the nec card.
Only the stick is this a driver issue?

Don't know about the adapter part, but I have the same thing with my VIA usb2.0 card that the printer is not found if connected to the 2.0 card. Stick, 12in1 card reader and Bluetooth adapter work ok (well there's no bluetooth stack but it's reported correctly by the prefs).

I have an NEC based USB2 card as well, which works in Linux so I'm pretty sure its not broken. However I am not sure how to get it to work at all in Poseidon. It doesn't even show up as 1.1, it never gets enumerated in the hardware prefs pane either. So it's like it isn't there in MOS at all.

What drivers are you using?

I have regged Poseidon V3, btw. in a PegasosII.

You'll need both files, install them, add them via USB-Prefs, reboot.

I used a old usb cable and cut it on one side to make the link from the front usb connector off the case to the internal port off the nec usb card.
Works like a charm on my usb flash stick and on my mp3 player.
Very nice and fast.
But doesn't work on sony cybershot s500.No mounting but nak timeout failure.

Printing works but takes the same time as on usb 1.1
Maybe the printer is bottleneck?(epson stylus color 680).

Maybe I can try this ptp thing on the 2.0 port to see iff that works.
