    ...But it works!

Here's the URL, I made an album of my adventures making this thing on webshots.com..

    http://community.webshots.com/album/557589369ZQViMI

It won't win any design awards with its 1960s surplus power and reset buttons and scrounged LEDs/parts of an AT case and ATX power supply. However the whole thing cost me $10 for the microATX power supply and a day's worth of futzing around, and it was entertaining. Now, it waits only for MOS 1.5 :-D

The long term plan is for this to go inside a much more elegant case, but that will take time to build so for now, this is it. I just didn't want the graphics card flopping around while the machine was on..

    Good stuff Tronman!

What did you use to cut the metal for the ports and then shape it well if I might ask?

    Heh, Thanks :-)

I used a chainsaw file for the bigger round holes, and a kit of small files from Radio Shack, one of them is a triangle shape so it's easy to make corners with. Plus, the soft steel of the case is easy to work and soft to grind.

I cut the USB/ethernet square hole out with a dremel tool and fiber disc attachment, since the opening was large enough to use one.
