st place: OpenTTD - Reason. Its simply one of the most stable games for MorphOS at the moment. I havent notice it crashes yet. Another thing, its a superb multiplayer game! You dont even need to be a train lover to think that those trains are really cute :)
nd place: Titler - One of the better 3Dtext programs I`ve seen. It runs stable here and will be a perfect tool once firewire driver is done. Also,.. with anim support it would be just as perfect as the 3Dtext program for classic Amiga.
rd place: IBrowse 2.4 - If not a only MorphOS program and that it misses CSS and JAVA etc. IBrowse shows yet again how great it is! And now it starts twice as fast as before. IBrowse 2.4 looks as great as before (or even better!). Only thing is the missing CSS part, other than that. It must be one of my fav. browsers ever!
th place: MUI4 - Slow but good progress. The prefs part of MUI4 have improoved a lot. I like the slide part of the latest MUI4 release, which makes it much easier copy box, gradient design etc. Perfecto :)
th place: Sputnik - Great speed, great CSS reading, great design for the very first public beta of one of the most debateable programs in 2006. Still not perfect, but this browser got big potential! Marcik have done superb job! Kudos 4 you :)
th place: AmiGG - In Poland, most of people uses a instant messaging program called GaduGadu. AmigaOS 3.x, AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS users have the possibility to chat with others having GaduGadu thru AmiGG.
AmiGG supports animated smileys, filetransfer and more! Several updates have been made available during 2006 also. Support the authors if you like it.
th place: MOSnet - It`s free and it`s on Aminet so that everyone can get online without feeling that they didnt pay for something thats not available. Hint... Hint.. Miami ;) With a "much" better GUI, it would be even better for MorphOS beginners.
th place: Robin Hood - It looks great, it plays well and looks like a charming game. Have only tested the demo, which I find great.
th place: Steamdraw - If you like to draw vectors, this program will in the future be great. I really like the layout of the program. 10th place: WookieChat - Dont have the AmIRC key? Then WookieChat is really a great option. Its a shame that the author wont release a MorphOS native version, but atleast the 68k version runs really great and stable. It also supports several different servers in one window, which I really miss in AmIRC.
This is my view of 2006. Some of you might agree, other disagree. But the most important thing is to send a Happy New Year to everyone. If your not in this list, your not forgotten offcourse.
will be a adventure year. Number 7 is for adventure and the mystic you know :)
