I got a USB PL2303 serial adapter and connected it to my eMac running MorphOS and went to MorphOS Preferences – USB. Preferences showed USB-Serial Controller State orange circle with an ? in it and said Bindings None. I selected serialpl2303.class binding and then selected “I am not dumb”. I clicked restart in USB preferences window. Then the USB-Serial controller comes up with a green circle and serialpl2303.class. Then I am able to run DeTerm and it works with serialpl2303.device.

Is there a way to make the binding permeant so I do not need to do it every time I restart the computer? I have the problem under MorphOS 3.18 and 3.19.

I got it from amazon because I needed a USB serial adapter that could do 5V or 3.3V https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8RJ722Z/
