Sadly, my PowerMac 2.3 is on the way out!

I have seen mods on youtube to convert to a fan only setup.

Does that work properly with MorphOS, since it seems to rely on recalibrating the fans?

I read that the A1047 should adjust fans and be ok and not the other quad core 2.5 A1117?

I’d start by trying to figure out what is wrong with your existing mobo. Could be something easily fixable.

The second display also has colored lines ( run turbocalc on it) If I move the spreadsheet window the background colored pixels go away, but stay in the spreadsheet itself.

System will normally lock up system eventually with fans turned on high. Using it right now and it seems to be fine except for the lines of colors. Worried it will corrupt files though...

The one cpu went bad a year or so ago and I swapped them to get it back.

I took it apart and cleaned and reseated everything, didn't fix the problem.
