    Hey folks,

I can't seem to get any USB devices to work on my G4 Peg2/MOS1.4.2. It recognizes my C-40Z digicam, but then only failures follow, and the same goes for my Nex II MP3 player (they used to work with Poseidon on my A4000T with the Algor USB card). Anybody have a similar experience?

Check out the USB error logs for both devices and please tell me how to fix it:

fat95 was already there. Some more info:

The Nex II device shows up correctly on the 'devices' tab in the USB Preferences, as a mass storage device. I've been doing quite a bit of playing around with the mass storage device class settings, all to no avail. :-(

It can read the vendor as "Texas Instruments", the mass storage device settings show L:fat95 (and DosType 46415401, which is FAT/1), and it shows LUN 0 as 'Nex II Digital', to be mounted under dosname UMSD. :-)

A UMSD: device also exists with the NexII plugged in, but it's "not a DOS disk". Unplugging it gives a "no disk present". :-)

It is very irritating that the device vendor and product name are recognized, plug / unplug are detected, but it's not properly mounted for some reason. :-?

Just tried Poseidon 2.2, and I got a little further on the Nex II (USB device with CompactFlash card). It now shows a device on the Workbench (or PegBench, whatever you call it), and I can view directories. Unfortunately the directories contain crap filenames and (after a quick format) I still can't seem to get many files on it without something going wrong.

I'll try the Olympus Digicam when I get it in my hands again.
