Hi all, I guess, that the topic itself says it clearly, but to describe it more exactly, I, say, connect to internet through my 56k modem and when something crashed, the Peg2 doesn't boot untill I turn the serial modem off. It worked flawlessly under Peg1. Is a possible to do some workaround or I just have to turn off my modem everytime?

    Thanks!

    Bye, MarK.

    This is only my opinion:
I think you can "pilot" your peggy by a serial connection in startup.
I have the same situation in a sparcstation where you can install operating system and manage your computer using serial cable and terminal.

The bios check the serial port and block the normal boot, i suppose.

But I can't suggest you any solution. Sorry.

Is there some option in the bios?
