I plugged in a generic USB joystick.. in System-->USB it recognizes I
have one plugged in but under bindings it says "None". Is there
something I can use that will test my USB joystick for functionality?
    (doesnt work w/uae)

The newest version of Posiedon allows the use of digital joysticks without any tinkering at all. Analogue sticks do send signals back and forth, but I think they have to have settings fiddled with.

I think, but am not sure, that one has to download the newer version of Posiedon from his website (no reregistering or anything).

    hi
to use usb joysticks and pads you just have to install the latest update for poseidon/mos from chris hodges website - its fantastic! you have to configure the stick once, though ( hint: "Fill defaults").
working programs i discovered so far:
mame, frodoWOS (amidog), warpsnes, dynamite, . .

i am especially happy because i just finalised my Competition Pro USB !!!!

    kind regards

Well, but then i really would like to use my gameport pad on the peg,
and with more than the four buttons, as it currently support.
Well at least with the lowlevel.lib on my amiga, I can use at least
    seven buttons.
Why not with the pads connected on gameport?!

Oh btw, does anyone know how to hack a CD32 honeybee pad, that i can
connet it to my gameport? (Yes i know they released the
honeybee also as a pc version, but i don`t know where to get one, on
the other hand, i have several brand new CD 32 honeybee pads.)

Or, well perhaps to the usb port? (Which i guess is impossible)

    bladerunner:
you can easily build an amiga-joystick->usb interface:
    - buy a cheap usb gamepad
    - solder wires to the pcb lines of all buttons
    - connect the wires to a female joystick plug
    - mastermind a nice housing for it

    there you go. 1 hour.

    kind regards
