Got anyone a SCSI-Card (PCI) working in a G5?
I tried a Fujitsu-Siemens-card with a symbios 53c895A, but MOS won't boot (System hangs after loading quark-kernel).
Same card is working well under MacOSX and in a PegasosII (MOS).

Es gibt doch SCSI PCI Karten orig. Mac, die sollten ergo auch im G5 werkeln.

Ist eine PCI! Und sie werkelt auch im G5, aber nur unter MacOS und leider nicht unter Morphos - das bleibt nach laden des Quark-Kernels (boot.img) hängen........
An der Karte liegts nicht, denn in einen Pegasos eingesetzt, läuft sie auch unter MorphOS tadellos. Es liegt also am G5.......Vielleicht verträgt der nur bestimmte Karten....?

PCIe-based G5 PowerMacs are not (yet?) supported by MorphOS.

If the card works in MorphOS on Pegasos as well as in MacOS on PowerMac G5 (which means the G5 does work with the card), but not in MorphOS on the PowerMac G5, I wouldn't necessarily draw the conclusion that the PowerMac G5 must be the culprit. It can be MorphOS as well. The only valid conclusion to be drawn is that there seems to be a compatibility issue between MorphOS and the PowerMac G5 regarding this card.

Yes, I also think so......I've opened a ticket to MorphOS-Team about that.......
