    Which devices fail exactly?

There's no need for you to buy overpriced Sonnet cards. A regular card based on a NEC chip will work just fine.

The easiest way to fix this is to delete "SYS:Prefs/env-archive/sys/Poseidon.prefs" and reboot.

morphos should also support chip away in fact my card is recognized and also the coupling device that, at least from this I infer preferences of Poseidon. Only that the external hd is not seen in the desk ...
you have any idea about it!

Since you've allready have obvious PCI-issues as shown in other threads, you should try what happens when you strip down the system to an AGP-card and 1 PCI at a time.

If a card still makes problems than, throw it away and afterwards continue trying to find a combination of cards that actually works.

Is this a G5? PCI in G5 may not work properly with MorphOS 3.5.

That would be disappointing, especially as the 3.4 release notes read:

"Fixed several firmware related problems that prevented some PCI cards from working properly on G5 machines."
