I'm facing some strange Internet issues after changing to a new Motorola - SURFboard eXtreme 802.11ac DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem and 4-Port Gigabit Ethernet Router and I am not longer to connect to Internet.

This is the error message that I'm getting:

Error 6: Unable to resolve host name - Morph OS 3.3

    This is my setup:

    1. Cable modem connected to IP wall connection
    2. Ethernet cable connecting modem directly to a Netgear powerline network adapter (this is the same adapter I was using with my old DSL modem/router)
    3. Second powerline network adapter connecting through network cable to Mac Mini G4 1.5

These are the full specs of the modem/router:
    Product Features

    Wireless-AC technology
Utilizes the 3x3 MIMO antenna design to deliver a range of more than 450' while eliminating drops and dead zones.
Up to 1750 Mbps Wi-Fi speeds
Along with up to 343 Mbps download speeds ensure fast performance.
    Integrated dual-band Wi-Fi router
Operates at 2.4GHz (802.11n compliant) and 5.0GHz (802.11ac compliant) frequencies for versatility.
    MoCA networking
Allows use with compatible smart devices (not included).
    Wireless printing capability
Lets you print using compatible printers without cable clutter.
    DOCSIS 3.0 technology
Backward compatible with DOCSIS 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0 systems.
    Built-in 4-port Gigabit Ethernet router
For wired connection of up to 4 computers.
WPA, WPA2, WEP and WPS security
    Help keep your information secure.
    VPN pass-through
Ensures your private information stays private.
    Wi-Fi pairing button
    Offers easy connection.

I'm very baffled with the fact that MorphOS is not connecting or recognizing the network directly as I always did with my previous setups.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Open the network-startup file and edit it so that 'netconfig autoconfig' is called as 'netconfig autoconfig debug >ram:debug.txt' paste the debug.txt file.

I think he runs 3.4 (despite his outdated signature). It's just the host name after all, which doesn't have to match the OS version or any OS name at all.

    @All
Thank you to all who replied to my post.

My problem is fixed and I didn't have to do anything.

It seems like I also changed the position of my new router to the opposite side of my home (a big length), it took time for the pwerline to stabilize snd to carry the network signal from one end to another.

I booted up my computer, and voila, Internet was up and running. Everyday one learns something new.

Anyways, again thank you for the responses and advice.
