Got trouble with my Powerbook out of the sudden, probably with the keyboard.

Symptome: I cannot access OF or the boot menu anymore. If I press "alt" after power on the screen stays black. The external fw hdd I boot OS X off spins up and initializes, but it doesn't start from it and just does nothing. The hdd is fully okay - no prob to boot from it on my mini and when MorphOS boots on the powerbook I can normally access it.

But there are issues with the keyboard on the Powerbook. After boot up it misbehaves. As if some comand key was pressed already. Tracing incoming kbd signals on Poseidons usb settings doesn't show anything strange.

Connecting an external usb kdd doesn't change this behaviour, it doesn't let me access OF neither.

Anyone an idea what could be wrong there and what the cure may be?

Sounds like the keyboard connector got loose. It is some very flat connector which likes to disconnect especially if used often.
